Artichokes A La Grecque


appetizers

1 cup water
1 pkg (10 oz.) of frozen artichokes
3 tablespoon lemon juice
1/4 cup olive oil
3 peppercorns
1 pinch thyme
1 pinch fennel seed
1 pinch coriander seed
1 small bay leaf

1. In a large, heavy skillet, cook artichokes in boiling water for 5 minutes. Add all remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes. 2. Cool in cooking liquid. Serve artichokes with 4 tbsp of this liquid.
