2 cup flour
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1/4 cup brown sugar
3 eggs -- well beaten
2 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup coconut -- finely shredded
1/2 cup raisins
1 cup walnuts -- optional
2 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon grated lemon rind
Heat oven to 350F. Mix flour, butter and 1/4 cup sugar thoroughly. Press= firmly into bottom of lightly greased oblong pan 13x 9 1/2 x 2. Bake 10= minutes. Mix eggs, 2 cups sugar and salt together. Stir in rest of= ingredients, spread over the partially baked bottom layer. Bake about 25= minutes. Top will be lightly brown.
