Royal Street Jambalaya


main dish, cajun, kosher

1 1 lb. jar gefilte fish
2 cup cooked rice
2 tablespoon butter or pareve margarine
1/4 cup bell pepper, chopped
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon thyme
1 can condensed tomato soup>>>
1 undiluted.
1 cup milk
1 paprika

Saute onion and green pepper in butter until tender but not brown. Add salt, pepper, thyme, soup, and milk. Mis with rice Pour into greased 1 1/2 qt. baking dish. Drain gefilte fish and arrange on top; press into rice mixture and sprinkle with paprika. Bake in 350 F. oven for 30 min.
