Hummus Tamales


main dish, vegetarian, tex-mex

1 basic masa dough recipe
18 corn husks
----FILLING----
3 cup chickpeas; cooked
1/2 cup sesame tahini
6 tablespoon vinegar, brown rice
3 garlic cloves; minced
3 tablespoon parsley, fresh; chopped
2 tablespoon tamari

To make filling: Blend filling ingredients in a food processor to make a thick paste. Add a bit of water, if necessary, to achieve desired consistency. Fill and cook tamales according to "Tamales: Basic Procedure".
